Intel Ups the Core Ante

newintellogo.jpgIntel announced that it would have the newest in ever-evolving processor technology completed this year. What's the newest thing you'll be shelling out money for and probably won't even need? Quad-core processors, of course. If Vista can't capitalize, and also importantly, new game and application developers besides Microsoft, these additional cores won't make the difference in computing that they should be. Expect AMD to make a move on this soon.

Google Makes Blind-Friendly Computing a Reality

google_logo.jpgIn what has to be one of the strangest things I've ever heard of, Google has now created a way for blind people to use their seemingly limitless resources. I'm not talking about people who have seeing-eye dogs being able to play HL2: Episode 1, but it's still something. I still think that blind people might have trouble actually using an internet browser to get to this site, but Google will probably take care of that too. By the way, just my two cents here, I think that if blind people had a.. well.. blind choice of browsers, it would be Firefox.
